TABLET DISSOLUTION RATE TEST APPARATUS

Dissolution rate consists of water bath of 30.5cm long 20.5cm wide and 23cm high fitted with a thermostatic control maintains the temperature of water at 47degree c with +_ 0.5 variation convered vessel 1000ml made of coring glass variable speed motor cylinder basket and shaft with blades of stainless steel.

TABLET COATING PAN

12” dia stainless steel the machine is worked by oil immersed gear box with F.H.P. motor drive air blower is operated independently and air is thermostatically controlled to give temp. 30 to 110C switches for motor blower heater and thermostat are fixed on a panel with neon indicator. Also main lead 15 Amp plug provided.

LIPSTIK MOULDS

Made from brass/gun metal machine made perfect shapes smooth and polished cavities. Nickel plated various capacities with a number of moulds in each set. Capacity 1 gm 1.5 gms & 2 gms (15.4 grains).

STUDENT ORGAN BATH (DOUBLE UNIT)

A Perspex organ bath with fine thermostatic temperature control, electronic stirrer and complete set of accessories, making it a versatile unit for all research work. Bath 12”×9”×8”, with leak proof dovetailed joints, resting in sturdy metal frame; top of the bath carries a 1”×3/8” hick band, for fixing accessories, inside the bath is a metal sheathed heating element (easily replicable) controlled by means of a fine adjustable thermostat with sensitivity ±1°c. The stirrer unit is completely independent and dips in the bath in one corner, fixing on its special stainless steel upright. A M.S. Junction box is fitted to the bath frame and carries all the electrical leads and connections two pilot lamps indicate functioning of the thermostat and stirrer.

STERILITY TEST APPARATUS

Pharmalab offers complete systems for aseptically filtering liquid samples. The sterility tests in these systems are done by the bacteria-retentive membranes filter method.

A 47 mm membrane filter is installed in a suitable holder. The liquid sample is drawn through this sterile membrane filter to concentrate any contaminating micro-organisms on the filter surface. After filtration is completed, sterile flushing fluid is passed into the funnels, rinsing all sample residues through the filters so that is cannot possibly inhibit growth of the retained micro-organisms. After this, the filter is sectioned and aseptically transferred to media for culturing. If growth is not visible after the incubations period, the sample passes the text.

SINGLE STROKE MOTOR OPERATED TABLET MACHINE

Stroke machine is an eccentric driven press for tablets upto maximum 1/2” diameters. The speed of the machine is tablets upto maximum minute with single punch fitted. It can take up multi-punches as per the diameter of the tablet. Tablets which can be pressed may have round, square, triangular or any other design depending on the die & punch.

ROTARY MICROTOME

Rotary Microtome (Erma Microtome):-

Heavy cast iron base with entire mechanism covered with a heavy cast iron protective dust cover. It incorporates a Ball & Flange type object holder for exact centering of specimen. Lateral movement of knife holder ensures use of complete knife edge. Microtome has a feed range of 1-25 microns in steps of 1 micron each. Supplied with Razor 120 mm long with back and handle, Dust cover, Honing Plate, Object Holder (set of 3) and oil can. Razor supplied is made out of alloy steel and duly hardened for long lasting knife edge.
